Aerosol Spray

Composition:

Each can (200ml) contains:

Oxytetracycline HCl:  5 gm

Gentian Violet:            470  mg

Ethanol (96% w/w) q.s. to 200  ml

Properties & Indications:

OXY-CHEM Aerosol Spray is a potent anti-bacterial product since it contains a broad spectrum antibiotic (Oxytetracycline) which is active against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, it is also active against spirochetes and ricketssiae.

The Gentian Violet dye posses an anti-fungal action, it is active against  

Candida albicans. It also work as a blue marker dye.

OXY-CHEM Aerosol Spray is indicated for the treatment of superficial local infections, Dermatitis, Footrot, Udder and Teat Lesions, and in case of Wounds, Lacerations and Abrasions, Dehorning, after surgical operations and in case of poultry cannibalism and Debeaking.

OXY-CHEM  Aerosol Spray  is suitable for use in camels, cattle, sheep, goats, horses, dogs, cats, and poultry.

Dosage and administration:

OXY-CHEM  Aerosol Spray   is recommended only for topical application.

Shake can well before use.

Before application remove carefully any exudates or debris from affected area.

Hold can away 15-20cm from the affected area and administer the spray in bursts of ten seconds duration.

Apply one or more times a day, depending on patient interference or environmental conditions.

Storage instructions:

Store in a dry and dark place at room temperature below 30°C.

Don’t  refrigerate .

Precautions:

The container is pressurized, do not expose to heat or sunlight.

Do not puncture or incinerate even when empty.

For animal use only .  Keep out of reach of children .

Wash hands after use .

Do not spray in or near the eyes .

Do not spray while smoking.

No withdrawal period is necessary for either meat or milk intended for human consumption .
