Water Soluble Powder

COMPOSITION:

Each 1gm contains:

Magnesium carbonate: 890mg

Sodium carbonate: 100mg

Nux vomica: 10mg

PROPERTIES AND INDICATIONS:

• LAXACHEM is used as laxative in case of impaction, tympanitis, indigestion, constipation, and atony of the digestive tract which caused by over-feeding.
• LAXACHEM is also used for treatment of intoxication due to grazing of poisonous or rotten plants.
• LAXACHEM is also used as anti-acid, stomachic and intestinal stimulant.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

Cattle, camels, equine: 100-150gm per animal/1-2 liters of drinking water and given orally as a drench.

Calves, sheep, goats: 40gm per animal /0.5-1 liters of drinking water and given orally as a drench.

WARNINGS:

Don’t use in case of strychnine poisoning.

STORAGE:

Store in dry and dark place at room temperature below 30^oC.

CHEMVET Paraffin Oil

Composition:

Paraffin oil 100%

Properties & indications:

• CHEMVET Paraffin Oil is a mineral oil used as a laxative that improves the bowel transit. In contrast to other oils (e.g. vegetable oil), paraffin oil is not digested, and therefore it does not slow down the emptying of the stomach. This increases its effectiveness with respect to other oil-based remedies.
• CHEMVET Paraffin Oil is indicated as an aid in the treatment of intestinal constipation and bloat in horses, cattle, camels, sheep, goats, dogs and cats.
• CHEMVET Paraffin Oil can also be used to treat hairballs in cats and dogs as it binds hairs enabling them to be passed through the digestive system and excreted.

Dosage & administration:

• (Administer orally by drenching bottle or by stomach tube. If necessary, repeat treatment after 12 hours).
• Horses, Cattle & Camel: 500 ml to 1000 ml / 500 kg of body weight.
• Sheep & Goats: 50 ml to 100 ml / 50 kg of body weight.
• Dogs & Cats: 2.50 ml / 5 kg of body weight.

Warnings:

• Frequent use especially in young animals may interfere with normal absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, other nutrients or drugs from the digestive tract and may also result in the development of granulomatous lesions in the intestinal wall and the liver.
• Accidental administration into the trachea and bronchial tree may lead to Lipid pneumonia.

Withdrawal period:

Zero days.

Storage conditions:

Store at temperature below 30°C.

Keep the container tightly closed.
